MEET OUR GUIDES

Steve Bywater

Born and raised in a park service family in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Steve has spent his entire life fishing local waters. He has worked for 15 years at High Country Outfitters as a professional guide on the Snake and Green rivers. When not guiding, Steve enjoys salt water flyfishing in Mexico and traveling the world.

Wes Bolton

Wes grew up in the fly fishing mecca of Eastern Idaho, learning how to fish on the famous waters of the South Fork of the Snake River and the Henry’s Fork from an accomplished fly fishing Father. Moving to Park City, Utah in 2001, he found himself guiding on the Provo River and other area streams. After eight years there, adventure got the best of him and he headed up to guide the waters of Katmai National Park in Alaska. With four years of Alaska under his belt he made his way to the Jackson area and has been guiding here since. When he isn’t out rowing his boat he is probably out chasing elk with a bow, or looking for untouched snow in the backcountry on a snowmobile.
